This book is brilliant because it started in a different way to the usual Redwall books because the adventure starts straight away. I am still considering if it is a better begginging than usual but I think both are equal begingings in every book. What I also like about this book is it's sense of mysteriousness as if there is more going on than we think a bit like the affest I got when I was reading the pearls of lutra which was also fantastic. Overall I give it a million out of ten exactly like every other Redwall book I've read which is quite a lenghthy list belive me.
